Does anyone else out there belly dance for exercise?

What are your fav. CDs and DVDs for belly dancing? I’m looking to get a couple of new ones.
I like to do it at home, thanks.
Lila, try a university or a community center in your city –I have taken classes before it is fun.
I already have a bunch–I’m just looking for something different, thanks.

Best exercise DVDs? I like Tae Bo, yoga, pilates, and dance?

What do you recommend? I’m looking for some DVDs to do at home because we don’t have P.E. right now and I want to exercise. I really like Tae Bo and videos like that. I like high action and speed stuff. But I also like yoga, pilates, and dance so those are good too. Just recommend me some of your favorites. Thanks!

10 minute solution videos are really good. They have all types (dancing, pilates, yoga, kickboxing). These are my favorites at least.

Linda asks…

Is there anywhere I can view clips of exercise dvds before buying?

I’m interested in buying some new workout dvds and I’d like to see some clips of them before buying them. I’ve read some reviews at Amazon and I’m mostly interested in seeing clips of Dancing Off the Inches and 10 Minute Solution but would like to see clips of any others that are for sale also. Thanks.

Mary asks…

Why people fall for Exercise video tapes/dvds, when we can actually make our own exercise routine?

we don’t need to spend any money. Like my own routine includes some pushups, crunches, aerobic exercise, shadow boxing stretching, weights, and dancing..Tha’ts easy to formulate, so why do i even need to buy videos? I don’t. Then you have all this testimonials in those tv commercials saying “This is the best workout ever” As if they don’t have any idea, on how to make their own personal workout. Come on people..you don’t have to do what other people tell you, you can make nice exercise and make it fun however you want.

I think that’s great that you can make up your own things, excellent! This is a good talent that you have, remember tho that not everyone can do this, as a matter of fact it’s rare that they can do it. Don’t be too hard on everyone as you have the gift, maybe you’ll want to use it to help others.
